Save KPA Configuration

Click to show a "Save As" dialog where you may provide the name of a new file that will receive configuration data. A suggested file name is generated from the KPA500's serial number and the local date and time, but you may overtype this with any valid file name. Click "Save" to begin saving configuration data.

The KPA Utility creates a folder intended for configuration files, located under the current user's Application Data folder.

You may use this folder, or use the Save As dialog to navigate to a different folder for saving configuration files.

Firmware is not preserved in the saved configuration file.

Restore KPA Configuration

Click to show a File Open dialog. Select an appropriate configuration file and click "Open". Your amplifier's configuration will be restored from the selected file.

Do not modify the configuration file between Save and Restore, or Restore may fail.

If you wish to create a configuration file that contains a different configuration, use the KPA front panel to make changes, and then use Save KPA Configuration to save the new configuration.

Display Fault Table

The Fault Table shows the most recent 128 hard fault codes your amplifier has reported, with the most recent fault entry first.

Each line has:

Click "Save to File" to create a Fault Table file, which may be requested by Elecraft to resolve a support issue.

Used to enter a short (8 character) message that will be displayed on the front panel display when the KPA500 is turned on.
