Any training using county class materials must not change any of the content about proper radio operations in a way that would affect any operations between cities or between a city and the county.
The class materials must not be used to create a class intended to replace any of the county classes. It must be clear to the attendees of the class that they will not receive credit for the corresponding county class, nor will the class count toward any county credential requirements. It is the responsibility of the city creating and/or teaching the new class to ensure that the participants understand this. Such classes should be aimed at CERT or other volunteers, rather than ARES®/RACES members.
Any county class materials provided to a city/agency must not be shared by that city with anyone else.
