Santa Clara County ARES^®/RACES has been given permission to use the county's AlertSCC system to notify hams of situations that may require a county-level RACES activation. The levels of notification are defined on the ARES/RACES activation level definitions page.

Any ham who has signed DSW paperwork on file with Santa Clara County ARES^®/RACES can sign up for this service. MACs are strongly encouraged to sign up for this service.

1. Go to the events page and sign in.
2. Click on "My Profile."
3. Update your profile.
4. Save your changes.

At least once each year you should verify that your contact information is correct.
