Amateur Radio Licensing

This group goes beyond simply teaching the test (like most ham crams do). They also cover some of the theory. As a result, you should come away knowing more about amateur radio.

• Los Gatos/Monte Sereno ACS-RACES - License classes (ham crams) with Exams

One day (usually Saturday), all day. Take the exam at the end.

• Bay Area Educational Amateur Radio Society (BAEARS) - License classes (ham crams) with Exam
• San Benito County Amateur Radio Association & W5YI-VEC - License classes (ham crams) with Exam

Usually Saturday mornings.

• The Silicon Valley Volunteer Examiner (VE) Group - Monthly Exam Sessions
• Sunnyvale VEC ARC - Exam Sessions
