Exercises (including drills) are an opportunity to combine individual skills together with other operators to achieve team results and demonstrate readiness for a real event. Some individual practice may occur. But individual practice is better accomplished at practice sessions.
Exercises usually involve taking action to address a specific scenario during a pre-defined operating period. Other agencies may be involved. So, participants are encouraged to practice and hone their individual skills before coming to an exercise. That way, their efforts during the exercise can concentrate on applying their individual skills to support partner agencies and to deal with the scenario presented.
To sign-up for exercises, visit the Training and Events Calendar.
Evaluations for the Credentialing Program are offered whenever and wherever the activity is conducive to evaluations and evaluators are available. Note that some types of events don't lend themselves to evaluations, and others may limit the types of evaluations we can offer.
The Training and Activities Calendar is the best place to find events.
The method for requesting an evaluation may differ, depending on the complexity of the event.
